About Armaan Malik

Born on July 22, 1995, Armaan Malik is an Indian singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and voice actor. In addition to Hindi, Telugu, English, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, and Malayalam, he is well-known for his multilingual singing. He competed in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in 2006, but he was eliminated after placing eighth. He is Amaal Mallik’s brother, the composer. He was previously signed to T-Series and Universal Music India; currently, Arista Records is his agent. Together with Warner Music India, he has his own record label, Always Music Global. Armaan Malik was born in Mumbai on 22 July 1995, to Daboo Malik (musician) and Jyoti Malik. His elder brother Amaal Malik is also a well-known musician.

Career

2006-2008: Career beginnings and Bollywood debut
Malik started singing at the age of 4. He competed on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in 2006, eventually finishing 8th. Later he learnt Indian classical music for 10 years. Malik made his debut as a child singer in Bollywood in 2007 with “Bum Bum Bole” in Taare Zameen Par, under the musical direction of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

From 2009 to 2019 Playback vocals, the debut album, and singles
His playback singing career began in 2014 when he sang “Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha” in the Hindi film Jai Ho. Along with him, he also sang the title track “Jai Ho” and two more songs from the film, “Love You Till The End (House Mix)”.

In addition to singing, Malik and his brother Amaal Mallik, a music composer, appeared in the opening of Jai Ho during the song “Love You till the End.”

He rose to prominence in April 2015 after competing on the ITV talent contest Britain’s Got Talent, where he performed his version of Robyn’s hit “Dancing on My Own” and earned Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. Childhood

Scott’s parents, Debbie Burton and Kevin Scott, were from Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. He grew up in the Yorkshire region, primarily in North Ferriby and Kingston upon Hull. When he was two years old, his parents divorced, and his father relocated to Canada. Jade, his younger sister, is a vocalist as well. Scott was inspired to sing by his sister after he finished playing the drums. He worked in human resources before becoming well-known.

Career

Beginning of career and Britain’s Got Talent, 2013–2015
Scott emerged victorious in Hull Daily Mail’s talent competition, Mail’s Star Search, on August 15, 2013. After that, he went on tour throughout the UK with Maroon 4, a Maroon 5 tribute band. Together with John McIntyre, he founded the electronic duo The Experiment in 2014. On June 14th, the first single, “Girl (You’re Beautiful)”, was released. After performing the song on BBC Look North and Good Morning Britain, the couple split up.
