About Arjan Dhillon

Born in India, Arjan Dhillon is a well-known Punjabi music artist, rapper, and composer. It was in 2017 that he began writing songs. Using the song “Ishq Jeha Ho Gya” from the Afsar soundtrack, Dhillon launched his career as a lead musician in 2018. Following the release of “My Fellas” on October 29, 2020, he achieved success with his single track “Bai Bai.” The debut studio album Awara by Dhillon was released on November 25, 2021, and his debut EP “The Future” was released on November 25, 2020.

Childhood: Born and raised in Bhadaur, Punjab, Dhillon is a Punjabi. When he was a high school student, he began writing songs.

Career
2017–2019: Beginning as a lyricist and singer Dhillon began his career in 2017 penning several songs for Nimrat Khaira, such as “Suit,” “Tohar,” “Lehnga,” and “Ranihaar.” The song “Ishq Jeha Ho Gaya” from the Afsar soundtrack marked the beginning of his singing career in 2018. He also wrote four other soundtrack tracks, “Udhar Chalda,” “Sun Sohniye,” “Khat,” and “Ravaya Na Kar.” After that, He wrote the songs “Muchh” by Nishawn Bhullar and “Pind Puchdi” by Hustinder. In June 2019, Dhillon made his YouTube debut with the song “Shera Samb Lai” on the Brown Studios channel.

2020–2021: The Future, Awara, a musical breakthrough
The year 2020 marked a turning point in Dhillon’s musical career. 2020 March saw the release of “Jatt di Janeman” by him. “Uber” was his audio track that came after this one. After releasing his hit songs “Bai Bai” and “My Fellas” in 2020, he went on to release other hit songs like “Kala Jaadu” and “Mull Pyar Da” in the months that followed. This was his biggest break. His six-track debut EP, The Future, was released on November 25, 2020.

Later on November 30, Dhillon released his single “Panjab Kithe Dabda” in recognition of his aiding the 2020–2021 Indian farmers’ protest by singing and motivating demonstrators. “Soorme Aun Tareeka Te” is the next non-commercial song he released.

Three songs by Dhillon were released on the same day in February 2021: “Gutt,” “Likhari,” and “Jutti.” The music video for “Gutt” is the most viewed song by Arjan Dhillon on YouTube, having received over 50 million views. In addition, Dhillon published five singles in 2021: “Pindaa De Naa,” “Jaagde Raho,” “Pehli Peshi,” “My Rulez,” and “Kalli Sohni.” Dhillon wrote the lyrics for Diljit Dosanjh’s song “Luna” from the MoonChild Era album in 2021.

The album peaked at number 32 on Billboard’s Canadian Albums Chart. Dhillon wrote and performed as a guest artist on Shipra Goyal’s song Koke in October, marking his debut in the music video. He made the announcement of his first studio album, Awara, in November 2021, and it was released on November 25.

On Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart, his debut album peaked at position 8. The album debuted at number one on Spotify’s Top Albums for India and number two on Apple Music’s Top Indian Albums charts. December 2021 saw Dhillon surpass one million Instagram followers. His Spotify listener count was over 1.2 million at the same time. With Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira lending their voices, Dhillon’s composed duet song “What Ve” was released in December 2021. With Nimrat Khaira, Dhillon revealed on his Instagram story in December the details of his first concert tour, “Destiny Tour Canada” (2022).

When Nimrat Khaira’s album “Nimmo” was released in February 2022, Dhillon co-sang one song, “Ki Karde Je,” and wrote lyrics for seven other songs. The first duet by Arjan Dhillon, “Ki Karde Je,” peaked at number 36 on the UK Asian music charts. With more than 20 million plays on Spotify, Arjan Dhillon’s new single “Jawani,” which he released in March 2022, is the song that has been streamed the most.

Arjan Dhillon set out on his first concert tour, “Destiny Tour Canada,” with Nimrat Khaira in April 2022. They made five different Canadian city appearances during their tour. The new single “Setting” was released by him in April 2022. Two more singles, “Thabba Ku Zulfan” on May 12 and “Nakhre” on July 11, were released after that. Arjan then disclosed the Destiny Tour, which would feature Nimrat Khaira in Australia and New Zealand. With Canberra, Australia, as its ultimate destination, it started on August 6, 2022, in Perth and ran until September 7, 2022.
