About Kirat Gill
Indian lyricist Kirat Gill was born in Amritsar, Punjab, in 1995. He received his diploma from Chandigarh University in Mohali after completing his education at his birthplace. In 2017, Kirat made his debut in the Punjabi music scene by penning the song “Laad Saab” for Sharry Hans. He has since worked on multiple music videos. About Sam
Film music composer, producer, writer, and singer Sam C. S. hails from India and primarily works on Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Before beginning production on the science thriller Ambuli, he made his Tamil cinema debut with the horror film Orr Eravuu.
Kaithi, Puriyatha Puthir, Vikram Vedha (and its 2022 remake), Odiyan, Adanga Maru, NOTA, and RDX are among his most well-known scores.
Childhood
Sam was raised in a Tamil household. He resides in Tamil Nadu’s Cumbum, Theni. In Royappan Patti, Theni, he went to St. Aloysius Higher Secondary School. Later on, he graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Tiruchirappalli with an MBA and an MCA. After graduating, he worked for a software company.
Career
Sam helped other film composers with their soundtracks. Movie theaters quickly saw his skill and offered him the chance to write the soundtrack for the musical thriller Mellisai, which was eventually retitled Puriyatha Puthir.
During this period, he wrote jingles and met Pushkar-Gayathri, a filmmaker duo, who gave him the chance to score Vikram Vedha. The original soundtracks for the movie and the CD both achieved chart-topping success.
In 2018, Sam was given his next chance to score the film Odiyan, starring Mohanlal, by director V. A. Shrikumar Menon.
