About Tegi Pannu

Singer, rapper, and songwriter Tegbir Singh Pannu, better known by his stage name Tegi Pannu, is an Australian-Indian who specializes in Punjabi music. His collaboration with Manni Sandhu on the tune “Into You” made him famous. The Official Charts Company’s UK Punjabi Charts and UK Asian Music Chart have featured his many singles. Tegi Pannu continued his career with Manni Sandhu in 2019, releasing the singles “Into You,” “Fully Loaded,” and “Schedule.”[3][4]

Pannu’s debut EP, “Disturbing the Peace,” was published in 2022.[5] The singles “One Question” and “Hold You Down,” from the EP, were included in the UK Asian Music Chart.[6]

In 2023, he and Sukha released their second EP, “Switching Lanes.” The singles from the EP, “On Sight” and “Switchin’ Lanes,” are listed on the UK Asian Music Charts.

About Manni Sandhu

Born on September 26, 1989, Amrinder Singh Sandhu, popularly called Manni Sandhu, is a British record producer who works with Punjabi music. His most well-known collaborations are with a long list of Punjabi musicians, such as Navaan Sandhu, AP Dhillon, Himmat Sandhu, Tegi Pannu, Bakshi Billa, Manak-E, the late Kaka Bhaniawala, and Prabh Gill.

His first album, My Time, was published in February 2012 and featured six tracks that charted in the official UK Asian Music Download Chart in addition to his blockbuster song “Door Ni Kulne” with Manak-E and No. 1 single “Sona” with Bakshi Billa. He has collaborated with several artists, including Prabh Gill, since releasing his debut album, and he later published his third album, Against All

Career My Time (2012)

The release date of My Time was February 23, 2012. Voices from Manak-E, Lehmber Hussainpuri, Bakshi Billa, Jelly Manjitpuri, Jaswinder Daghamia, Ashok Gill, and Nirmal Sidhu were among those featured on it, along with the late Kaka Bhaniawala.

Released in October 2010, the first song off the album “Door Ni Kulne”[3] featuring Manak-E marked Sandhu’s official debut in the Punjabi music scene. Being one of the first music directors born in the UK, he garnered over a million YouTube visits for the global hit. When the second song from Bakshi Billa’s album “Sona” was released in February 2012, it peaked at number one on the Official UK Asian Download Chart. “Bottle” feat. was one of the other tracks from the album to chart. 2013 – Present Day
Reload is a mixtape that Sandhu published on January 1, 2013, under the Collab Creations Ltd. label. The mixtape, which was made available for free download, revived the early 2000s UK garage sound.[6]

At the Vancouver TOIFA awards in 2013, Abhishek Bachchan gave a performance to Sandhu’s song “Bottle,” which included Lehmber Hussainpuri. It was the only song in the performance that was in Punjabi.

In addition, he contributed to the 2015 release of Against All Odds, his second album.

Sandhu and Manjit Pappu released “Friday” on February 27, 2014. In its first week of release, “Friday” shot straight to the top of the BBC Asian Network’s Official Download Chart.
